Why train to be a PADI Instructor or Divemaster with me?
Taking the decision to leave behind the ‘real world’ and explore the world as a PADI Instructor or Divemaster will be one you will never regret. However with the countless number of options available for professional scuba diving training, how do you make a decision about who to train with?
I was faced with the same decision when I changed my life and became a PADI Scuba Diving Instructor. Now as a PADI Master Instructor and having worked training PADI Professionals for a number of years, I know what it is important to look for when making this decision.
As well as looking for a PADI dive centre with great facilities, the most important thing to look for is instructors who believe in training quality professionals. Instructors who think beyond your Divemaster and Dive Instructor training, to your career in the industry, and also make your training enjoyable and fun.

My story:
“When considering how to spend your day, think about being asked in years to come how you spent your life.”
“I changed my career as a graphic designer, for the good life in the tropics working a PADI scuba Instructor. Working a diving instructor has changed my life. Now my job is to train PADI Divemasters and Instructors and help other people change theirs. It is a job I don’t just enjoy; it is a job I love. I am passionate about training quality diving professionals and will always go the extra mile to mentor you throughout your training.
My life before (ground hog day) … I was a graphic designer and I did actually enjoy my job, but I left the house about 6.40am and was never home before until at least 8pm. When I would eat some dinner, watch some crap television and go to bed, so that I could start the same routine again the next day. I certainly wasn’t unhappy, I enjoyed my life on the whole, but something niggled at me. I was sure something more existed out there for me, a life free from this rut I had found myself in … this was not how I wanted to spend my life.
I went on holiday to the Maldives and spent the majority of my holiday diving. I was not new to diving, but on this holiday I realise this is what I want to do for a living. So I set off on my biggest adventure and I have never looked back.
My alarm still often wakes me at 6am, but now I awake with excitement at what the day will bring. Every day is different, I do a job that does not feel like work, and I meet new and interesting people on a daily basis. After working in Thailand, the Philippines and Europe, I have decided to base myself in Thailand, for the time being at least, it feels like home.
Train with me as a PADI Divemaster or Instructor, and join me in paradise!”
