First Winter Dive this Year

On Sunday, I did my first winter dive this year. We went to Weggis at the Vierwaldstättersee and did two dives. The temperature was five degrees, but with my dry suit and my super warm undersuit, I was fine. However, after diving in Thailand, the temperature was quite a shock!

The first dive was to 23 metres with a sandy bottom. The visibility was quite good for a swiss lake, about 5-7 metres. On the second dive, we were diving along a wall of rocks at a maximum depth of about 32 metres. There were some fantastic rock formations with impressive boulders. However, there were hardly any fish, but at the end of the dive we found a huge pike which was lovely.

I am definitely looking forward to do more diving in Switzerland!
